The hat that started something.

I had two skeins of ridiculously good yarn, an idea for a longer, slouchier silhouette and apparently no intention of stopping once I got started.

Five-plus hours later, The Drake™ existed.

And she was exactly what I wanted a Raga-Noggin™ to be — relaxed, carefree, unconventional, a little unruly and considerably more interesting because of it.

Deep wine, teal, turquoise, rust, mossy green, black and flashes of pink wander through the stitchwork without lining themselves up politely. The extended crown creates that signature Raga-Noggin™ slouch, letting the colors shift and change depending on how you wear it.

Same hat. Completely different view from practically every angle.

It may look a little unruly.

Don't confuse that with accidental.

Every bit of that slouch is intentional.

And the name? The Drake™ is a nod to Dazed and Confused. If you know, you know.

Then I put her on Facebook.

You Guys lost your minds.

The response made one thing pretty clear: my little Warm Noggin™ spin on ragamuffin wasn't going to remain a one-hat experiment.

Raga-Noggin™ was officially a thing.

Now, there's one small problem.

The original Drake™ in these photos is mine. And I'm keeping her. 😂

But I'll make one for you.

Each Drake™ is custom made to order using the same yarn as the original. I'll order the yarn specifically for your hat and then build that same gloriously slouchy Raga-Noggin™ silhouette by hand.

Because variegated yarn has a mind of its own, your Drake™ won't be an exact stitch-for-stitch copy of mine.

That's not a flaw. That's the good part.

Same yarn. Same color story. Same relaxed, carefree attitude.
